While I still think the flan at La Espiga De Oro in Costa Mesa is one of the best flans in Orange County, it’s their Cream Cheese and Jalapeno Bread Rolls that call to me as I drive to work.

Want to fire up the troops at work? Forget the donuts (unless they are from Sidecar) and grab six or more of these perfect hand loaves. The outside is crusty, the inside is warm and steamy. I’d rather eat a warm one of these than a bagel and it’s WAY easier to eat while you are driving.
