I know you know I love to eat meat, but what if I told you that my favorite thing to eat this winter is a perfect plate of biscuits and gravy at the Vegan restaurant Seabirds in Costa Mesa? You’d call me crazy, right?
I don’t even know where to start with my love for this dish. The biscuits are perfect; the kale: perfect; gravy: perfect; those damn tofu things are way more tasty than they should be. It’s one of those dishes where you don’t know where to start, where to finish and you want a bigger fork because you want a little bite of everything on each forkful.
All I can really say is… thank you. Thank you Seabirds for opening up your restaurant in Costa Mesa.
