I’m not so sure if the simple things are best, but when you serve a Bao Taco with just meat it better be good.

Luckily the Cow Baos at Baos Hog in Garden Grove is just about perfect. The soft rice dough wrapping picks up just enough of the meat flavor to remind you of how good it was as you use your tongue to scrape it off the roof of your mouth. And the meat? Oh the meat is so damn good. You’ll get jealous seeing all the bright colors of the other Baos, but just stare into those deep brown eyes of your perfect soul mate and you’ll forget that the grass looks greener on the other side of the table.
