Food and drinks are the closest we get to teleportation devices. The drink that make me most feel like I’m not in Orange County is the always comforting Turkish Latte at Kean Coffee in Newport Beach. What makes this latte so different?

Cardamom. While cardamom has many health benefits, it’s how it benefits my soul that I appreciate so much. When I sip the Turkish Latte I feel like I’m somewhere far away from traffic, and over-zealous developers, and the typical me first attitude that pervades far too many people in Orange County. This latte tastes like a thank you, it tastes like someone holding your hand as you cross the street, it tastes like putting on socks when your feet are cold. It’s warm, it’s ever so nice.
